Created in 2010, Summer Sandlot is the ultimate opportunity for girls to stay active, make new friends, and play the great game of softball in a fun, pressure-free environment! Over the years, this program has grown four times in size and has become a favorite outlet for players to try out new positions on the field or experience the sport for the very first time.

Whether your player is an experienced regular or has never picked up a bat before, Summer Sandlot is open to girls of all skill levels.

The Sandlot Style: How It Works

We keep the focus entirely on fun, development, and playing time. Here is what makes Sandlot unique:

• Fresh Teams Weekly: Participants are divided up randomly each week to form new teams and meet new friends.

• More Action: All players hit off of a pitching machine (there is no player pitching).

• Everyone Plays: Everybody bats, every single inning.

• Play Where You Want: Defensive positions rotate constantly, allowing girls to try any position they want.

• Just for Fun: There are no scoreboards, no umpires, and very little coaching.

Schedule & Location

• Dates: Every Tuesday night for 5 consecutive weeks, starting June 23.

• Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

• Location: Allen Station Softball Complex

• Cost: Just $35 per player.
